Billing & Refund Policy

This Billing & Refund Policy governs payments made on lifescorts.com (the "Platform"), operated by BRAINS DEVELOPEMENT OÜ, registry code 16696038 ("Lifescorts", "we"). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
The English version is binding; other-language versions are for convenience only.
1. Paid services
The Platform offers paid subscription plans and one-off paid features (including short-duration visibility boosts). The price, duration and features of each are shown on the Platform at the time of purchase.
2. Billing entity and payment methods
2.1. Payments are collected by BRAINS DEVELOPEMENT OÜ and/or its authorised payment service providers. The name shown on your payment statement and on your invoice will reflect the billing entity.
2.2. Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include card payments and cryptocurrency, processed by our payment service providers. Card data is handled directly by those providers and is not stored by us.
3. Taxes (VAT)
3.1. Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT as indicated at checkout. Where EU VAT applies, it is charged in accordance with the applicable rules (including the One-Stop-Shop regime where relevant).
3.2. Business customers may be required to provide a valid VAT identification number; where the reverse-charge mechanism applies, this will be reflected on the invoice.
4. Invoices
An invoice or payment receipt is issued for each transaction and is available from your account. It is your responsibility to provide accurate billing details.
5. Activation and duration
5.1. Paid features are activated upon confirmation of successful payment and run for the duration purchased.
5.2. Where a plan renews automatically, this is indicated at purchase. You may disable automatic renewal at any time from your account; disabling renewal stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
6. Refunds
6.1. Because paid features provide immediate digital visibility that begins as soon as the service is activated, amounts paid are generally non-refundable once the service has been activated, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6.2. We may, at our discretion, grant a refund or credit where a paid feature could not be delivered due to a fault attributable to us.
6.3. Consumers with a statutory right of withdrawal: where the law grants a right of withdrawal for digital services, that right may be lost once performance begins with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that the right is thereby lost. Where a valid right of withdrawal applies and has not been lost, you may exercise it as described at checkout.
6.4. To request a refund, use the contact form available on the Platform and include your account and transaction details.
7. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution. We ask that you contact us first through the contact form available on the Platform so we can resolve the issue.
8. Price changes
We may change prices for future purchases or renewals. Changes do not affect a period already paid for. Material changes to recurring charges will be notified before they take effect.

Confirm EU VAT/OSS treatment and the consumer right-of-withdrawal wording with an EU tax/legal adviser, and confirm whether your advertisers are consumers or traders.
